- An Oesophagoscope - Sircus Modification. It is an optical instrument for examing the inside of the oesophagus. Used in the diagnosis and treatment of foreign bodies in an attemp to save one from blindly pushing materials into the stomach. Instrument made to specification of Dr W. Sircus.
