- Forceps. Early eighteenth century. The inner surfaces of the blades are deeply grroved for a better grip of the tooth and the outer surfaces are ornamented. The box-joint has been strengthened by a strip of brass on front and back. A second repair, a third strip of brass on one handle, is marked '1706'. These forceps were produced by a blacksmith.
