- 3 dental instruments with ebony handles. 1. Double ended instrument, flattened and curved metal ends. Numbers three and four are stamped on each end. 2. Long handle which is bulbous toward the metal end. Top flattens to a small point similar in shape to a chisel. Marked 'Ash' 3. Octagonal bulbous ebony handle, tipped with a small clamp holding a piece of what appears to be bamboo. Possibly a dental polisher.
