Bronze medallion presented to John Chiene by his house surgeons. The inscriptions on all four medallions says, 1878 Professor John Chiene. C.B, From His House Surgeons 1909 Makers mark on medallion. S.5.M Two are in velvet lined cases which would have been in the orginal presentation and are marked with Elkington & Co LD 34 Bachanan St. Glasgow.
