MINOP Disposable Introducer, used too obtain and maintain a temporary pathway to the ventricular system of the patient. It splits lengthwise and peels down to the skull level, to accomodate different depth requriments. The instrument is 7.3mm in diameter externally and 6.3mm internally. This instrument forms part of the intaventricular neuroendoscopic system. This device is for single use only, made of plastic the outersheath has grid along one side, with a pink oburator and blue tip.
The basic components include endoscope, trocar, camera, monitor and instrumentation. This minimally invasive system allows neurosurgeons to access deep seared regions of the brain withhout trauma to sensitive neurovascular structures. The endoscope allows illumination and inspection of angles in hidden parts of the surgical field with clear depictions of anatomical structure.
