- Jejunum showing hodgkin's disease A segment of jejunum. Externally there is an area of constriction but without change in the overlying serosa. On section a circular ulcerative lesion is present encircling the wall with raised everted edges. The mucosa in the rest of the preparation shows no evidence of ulceration. The appearances are those of a typical malignant ulcer. Where the edges of the lesion have been sectioned the tissue is homegenous and fleshy situated chiefly in the submucosa and without serosal involvement. There is a degre of infiltration and destruction of the muscularis. No cliinical notes available.
