Wooden box, mostly empty but containing micriscope lenses. (Box possible originally housed a microscope). Three of the lenses are contained in brass cases, and are fitted into the box interior. The caps of these brass cases are inscribed 'C Zeiss Jena'. There are also 4 lose lenses in the box, two of which also have 'Carl Zeiss Jena' inscribed on the sides.
