Laryngoscopy set in a velvet-lind case, by Gardner of Edinburgh, 1892. Included are six hand mirrors (125mm), two handles with screw fittings, one ivory, one ebony and both with brass fittings, two hair brushes, and a canvas head strap with brass attachment for the large single mirror. On the lid is an engaved plaque that reads: "R.I.E. Presented by the clerk and dressers pf Wards XIII & XIV J. Anderson M.B., C.M. Summer Session 1892"
