Histology Slide BONE, phalanges. Partial dissection of a left hand, showing chondromata of the fingers. The tumours, which are for the most part smooth and subglobular, involve the proximal phalanx of the thumb, the proximal and middle phalanges of the index and middle fingers, and the proximal phalanx of the ring finger.
