- Epididymis, with the testis and portion of the spermatic cord, in vertical section and partly injected, showing tuberculous epididymitis. In the body and tail of the epididymis, in the spermatic cord and apparently within the ductus deferens, are numerous small tuberculous foci many of which show caseation and in the spermatic cord the formation of early tuberculous abscesses. In the anterior portion of the head of the epididymis an ill-defined tuberculous nodule can be distinguished. The testis seems free of tuberculosis unless a minute yellow point the size of a pin-head towards its inferior and posterior part is evidence of commencing involvement.
