Cut throat razor, before safety razors were available they were used instead. To cut beards generally but before opertations a patients hair needs to be removed from the area being operated on. Markings: A. Wilson and Son, Razor manufacturer, Sheffield. Can be found on both the case and razor. The Prince of Wales Razor is enscribed on the side of the razor blade.
