- Collection of urethral bougies. All but one of the bougies was made by Gardner & Son, Edinburgh. One of the instruments is made by Young, Edinburgh. Two of the bougies have RHSCE on the handle which presumably means Royal Hospital of Sick Children, Edinburgh. A Bougie would be introduced into the urethra to ascertain where a blockage may be or to dilate a constricted area
