Pregnant uterus, anterior segment of coronal section of, with left ovary and uterine tube showing fibromyomata. The uterus contained a 4½ months foetus. To the right in the uterine cavity the placenta is seen on section. A coarse fibromyoma distends the uterine wall inferior to the uterine tube on the left side and numerous smaller fibromyomata are seen on section and subperitoneally. Anteriorly one forms a pedunculated tumour and inferior to that two other fibromyomata form nodular masses projecting under the peritoneum.
