- The dental key is an instrument that was used in dentistry to extract diseased teeth. The key was used by first inserting the instrument horizontally into the mouth, then its "claw" would be tightened over the tooth it was then rotated to loosen the tooth. J3X32 engraved on handle. Barrel-shaped wooden handle has two colours of wood.
