Brown wooden case with six restorative instruments with ivory handles. The case has a green silk lining with cotton wadding. The silk has floral detailing and fraying in the centre of the lid. 
1: small, ribbed ball end. 
2: shaft is flat and has angled, pointed end
3: round shaft which curves outwards into a perpendicular teardrop-shaped flat tip.
4: tapered short shaft with a romboid tip. 
5: circular tapered shaft with a perpendicular t-shaped tip.
6: circular shaft which curves out into a narrow tip.
Mid-nineteenth century. For filling and and filing the teeth, removing salivary glands
