Barclay, John (1758-1826). Honorary FRCSEd 1821. Bust, marble. 1825. Artist: Joseph, Samuel. Barclay's bust stands on a marble plinth with an inscription which reads: "This bust executed by desire of a meeting of Dr Barclay's pupils at the period of his retirement from his duties as a lecturer was presented by them to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh."
