- Coloured mezzotint. Depicts the interior of an eighteenth-century smithy with forge and anvil. The blacksmith, wearing a blue jacket and black hat and scarf, is extracting with oversized forceps of his own cosntruction a maxillary left central incisor tooth for a peasant, wearing a green jacket and cap, with orange fabric showing under his jacket. To the left of the two men, a woman, wearing a pink dres and white cap and shawl, woth her hand leaning on the anvil.
