These forceps were desgined by Milne- Murray with a detachable angled handle which is attached to the shank of the forceps. This meant that there was less 'ironmongery' insterted into the birth canal, but gave the doctors extra traction if required. These forceps are missing the handle off the detachable section. Marked EDINBURGH and also LEFT LOWER FIRST on the handle. the markings YOUNG can also be made out above EDINBURGH.
