Amputation set, late 18th century, including instruments by a range of makers including Evans, Wood, Weiss and Coxeter. Incomplete set. While all the smaller instruments are by Evans, the amputation knives are by Coxeter. The saw is among the missing instruments. One of the Hey's cranial saws is by Wood.
