- Case containing amputation instruments and tourniquet. A plaque on the case indicates this set was presented as a prize to George MacKay for best essay written in the1840-1841 class of military surgery at the University of Edinburgh. The set was made by Youngs Edinburgh Cutler to the King. Set contains: Amputation saw; Two amputation knives; bone forceps; tourniquet. One knive is missing.
