- Lithotomy knife made by Young, Edinburgh. The blade is attached to an ebony handle which has the museum number inscribed. The blade point has been broken, the makers mark can be seen at the base of the blade 'Young Cutler to Her Majesty, Edinburgh'. There is a spare blade which has been attached by cellotape to the knife (To be removed).
