Water-colour drawings showing congenital pigmentation of the skin. Of a male who did not long survive birth and whose parents and four other children presented no abnormality.
In addition to the discoloration of the skin a dark, rounded tumour projected from the lumbar region. There was pigmentation of the mucosa on the right half of the palate. The skin shows numerous points and areas of black pigmentation especially on the lower limbs The lumbar tumour is less densely pigmented than the skin and is of a dark brown tint. The pigmented areas are well defined.
