- Lower leg and foot, atrophy
- GC.3581
- Bones of lower leg and foot showing atrophy - joints have fused together. From a male aged 18 who since the age of 10 years had suffered from recurrent polyarticular arthritis with deformity and gradual fixation of the joints. This resulted in extreme tenuity of the bones of the right leg and probably throughout the skeleton generally. The continuity between the bones of the ankle joint is obvious as is also the ankylosis between the talus and calcaneum, the talus and navicular and between the navicular and the medial cuneiform.
