The superior half of the ala of the ilium is broken off by a fissure which extends from the anterior inferior iliac spine to the iliac crest at the junction of its posterior with its middle third. The inferior ramus of the ischium is broken from the tuberosity and anteriorly at its junction with the inferior ramus of the pubis which is also comminuted.
