- Pelvis with a united fracture of the left ileum
- GC.12203
- Pelvis, of an adult male, showing a united fracture of the left ileum. The fracture has passed from midway between the anterior and inferior iliac spines obliquely posteriorly and proximally across the left iliac fossa to the junction of the posterior and middle thirds of the iliac crest. Both laterally and medially the fracture is overlaid by an excess of light porous callus particularly in relation to the proximal fragment. This is a fracture of the iliac crest without involvement of the pelvic ring, resulting from a direct injury.
- Nineteenth century, early
