- Instruments for removing salivary calculus. Set of six instruments—two for removing salivary calculus and four chisels. all have Ornate mother of pearl fish motif handles fitted with gold ferrules. Late XIXth cent. 1st chisel - octaganlenal tapering shaft, with small square chisel 2nd chisel - octangonal tapering shaft, with small angelled chisel tip 3rd chisel - octangonal tapering shaft, with medium angelled chisel tip 4th chisel - octangonal tapering shaft, with medium angelled chisel tip showing signs of erosion 1st scraper (for removing tartar) - octangonal tapering tip and perpendicular triangle tip 2nd scraper (for removing tartar) - octangonal tapering tip with diamond shaped tip
